Climate protection measures in Germany: what is the state of play? BBH to host its first KlimAK conference

On 28 September, the law firm Becker Büttner Held (BBH) will hold the first conference of its climate working group  KlimAK in Berlin. The full day’s event provides an excellent platform for discussing the federal government’s climate policy agenda as well as its implementation together with industry experts.

The first KlimAK conference of BBH is designed as a stocktaking exercise: The morning session on 28 September will examine the state of play regarding the federal government’s climate policy measures and assess them. In the afternoon, the focus will be on the actual implementation of the measures, particularly in the area of the municipal heat transition.

“The current (energy) crisis once again draws our attention to the climate policy goals. However, the necessary transformation requires continuous efforts,” says BBH partner Prof. Dr. Christian Theobald.  “On our journey to climate neutrality, we are all looking for the most efficient measures, the best ideas, the most promising innovation. The KlimAK working group provides an excellent forum for municipal suppliers to exchange ideas and information, which is complemented by our first KlimAK conference,” adds BBH partner Prof. Dr. Ines Zenke.
