Dr. Tobias Traupel brings on board decades of experience in public administration and senior positions, most recently at the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalisation and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. As an acknowledged expert in European State aid law, foreign trade law, public procurement law and the rules governing the allocation of funding, he is joining the State aid team led by Christoph von Donat, lawyer and BBH partner, and Gabriele Quardt, lawyer and partner of counsel. He will also be working with the public procurement team led by Malte Müller Wrede, lawyer and BBH partner, Roman Ringwald, lawyer and BBH partner, and Daniel Altenburg, lawyer and BBH partner.
