BBHC adds public utility expert Arne Dorando to its team

BBH Consulting AG (BBHC) has strengthened its team with the addition of Arne Dorando, an expert with long-standing experience in the public utility sector. Mr Dorando specialises in strategic business development based on sustainability.

With more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Arne Dorando is perfectly placed to advise public utilities and local authorities in their quest to make municipalities carbon-free.

Mr Dorando most recently served as managing director of Stadtwerke Wülfrath GmbH. Prior to that, he held leadership positions in the area of sales at various energy supply companies. As senior manager at BBHC, he will provide advice in regard to “green” municipalities across Germany.

“Municipalities are to become climate neutral, ideally by 2040. To achieve this goal without losing their profitability, efficiency and effectiveness as providers of services of public interest, municipalities need a sustainable business strategy. Therefore, we are very pleased that we were able to add Arne Dorando, an experienced strategy expert, to our team,” says BBHC board member Marcel Malcher.

With over 50 consultants specialising in energy industry matters, Becker Büttner Held Consulting AG – a company of the BBH group – is a leading provider of consultancy services for energy and infrastructure companies. The BBH group advises not only approx. 450 public utilities (Stadtwerke) and numerous energy companies, but also a large number of energy-intensive companies, focusing – among others – on the areas of generation, trading and sales, technology, marketing and IT.
