BBH partner Dr. Martin Altrock appointed member of the presidium of the German Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (DWV)
Lawyer and BBH partner Dr. Martin Altrock has extensive expertise on hydrogen, a key topic for the future, which he will bring to bear also in the German Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (Deutscher Wasserstoff- und Brennstoffzellen-Verband e.V. – DWV). Dr. Martin Altrock has been appointed member of the association’s presidium today.
A renowned expert for all issues relating to the Renewable Energy Sources Act (Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz – EEG), Dr. Martin Altrock has been advising on the law governing renewable energy sources for more than 20 years. Since 2012, he has been working on the question as to how the energy system can be developed in a sensible manner by means of hydrogen and fuel cell technology and has been lead advisor on various studies on this topic that were commissioned by several federal ministries. In addition to his advisory practice, Dr. Martin Altrock is co-editor of the standard commentary on the EEG published by C.H.Beck and also lectures at Technische Universität Berlin.
He now also provides his expertise at association level. As a member of the DWV’s presidium, Dr. Martin Altrock will assist the German umbrella organisation of the hydrogen and fuel cell industry in shaping the market ramp-up of the hydrogen industry and in bringing together the different stakeholders.
