BBH assists municipality of Fuchsstadt in acquiring participating interest in large Bavarian ground mounted solar pv project

The municipality of Fuchsstadt (Lower Franconia) takes a ground-breaking step towards the energy transition, supported by BBH. As of 01/01/2024, Fuchsstadt holds a participating interest of 30 percent in one of Bavaria’s largest ground-mounted solar PV projects. Tens of millions of euros were invested in the installation, which will have an impressive output of 54 MWp and significantly contribute to delivering the region’s energy transition.

Die Entscheidung der etwa 2.000 Einwohner starken Gemeinde unterstreicht nicht nur ihr Engagement für nachhaltige Energie, sondern sichert auch einen erheblichen Anteil an der Wertschöpfung. Die bereits im Bau befindliche Anlage trägt nicht nur zur CO₂-Reduktion bei, sondern stärkt auch die lokale Wirtschaft.

The decision of the municipality of around 2,000 inhabitants not only emphasises its commitment to sustainable energy but also secures a substantial share in the value added.
