Dr. Lehnert provides comprehensive advice on the law governing renewable energy sources. He focuses on all legal matters relating to EEG funding, including sales of energy from renewable sources (PPAs, direct marketing of renewable energy), guarantees of origin (electricity, hydrogen), municipal participation (sec. 6 EEG) and matters relating to the Environmentrenewable energy under European law. Dr. Lehnert regularly advises project developers, installation operators and electricity suppliers/marketers as well as ministries, authorities and associations providing policy advice.

  • 2005 doctorate on a topic of comparative constitutional law
  • 2005-2007 legal traineeship in Berlin with placements at, among others, the Federal Ministry for the Environment and the German Foreign Office (New York, USA)
