Thomas Schneider advises public contracting authorities and sector contracting entities on the implementation of energy infrastructure projects in particular regarding the procurement of thermal waste treatment facilities, sewage sludge incineration plants and energy generation installations (e.g. cogeneration, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy or wind energy). In this context, he focuses on the conceptual planning and structuring of award procedures (also acting as awarding authority) for the procurement of planning services and the execution of works and delivery of goods required for the implementation of plant construction projects and acts as a lead counsel throughout the entire procedures.
