In his practice, Benedikt Doms regularly advises tenderers in concession award procedures. Furthermore, he focuses on takeovers of energy supply grids and the design and structuring of cooperation projects and participation models in energy supply companies, including the establishment of institutionalised public-private partnerships (IPPP). Other core practice areas include regulatory matters (in particular unbundling), corporate advice to energy supply companies most of which are municipal energy supply companies, and the possibilities of municipalities to engage in economic activities.
