75 years after the drafting of the German Basic Law, numerous civil society organisations and people committed to the cause are working every day to maintain democracy and diversity in Germany. They need straightforward and regular support, including financial assistance to expand their activities. The “Vereint für Demokratie” fund pools financial resources from companies to strengthen precisely those civil society organisations committed to democracy and diversity. An independent selection committee today decided on the allocation of an initial sum of €840,000 to particularly impactful civil society organisations. The BBH group is one of the very first supporters of this fund. BBH partners and lawyers Dr. Olaf Däuper and Dr. Jost Eder represented the firm at the launch event at Brandenburger Tor.
